- THE CREW
Lenger Racing was founded by Ryan Lenger, aka Hobbs, in 2006 as he began his career in building and modifying off road and race vehicles. He worked at Autosports Engineering after earning a degree in mechanical engineering at Michigan Tech. During this time he also worked for a number of rally teams. He built and maintained his own dune vehicle and also built a few for customers during this time.
Elyse Lenger, Hobbs wife, is from Phoenix AZ, went to Grace Bible college and runs the office, makes sure we dont forget to eat and sleep, and organizes dune camping trips.
Neal Griffen is the newest member of the crew. Neal met Ryan up at Silver Lake Sand Dunes one weekend and they both had one thing in common; they both loved wiping around in the dunes like no one else. Since then they have been good friends and this fall, Neal was hired at Lenger Racing.
- THE SHOP
With over 3,700 sq. ft., Lenger Racing is one of few companies in the mid-west offroad field that have the manufacturing capabilities to produce their suspension components in-house. We just added a new twin post hoist to the arsenal of tools in the shop to improve productivity and safety.

You guys do awesome work, I’m from the holland area. I’ve seen you guys up at silver quit a bit. Was wondering about work on a 83 CJ7 i have original axels, 350sbc w/turbo 400 not sure if any of that matters. Have you ever done something like a long travel kit for a jeep. Just looking for a smooth ride(no neck snapping). Down the road would like to have something like that done. And if you guys do, what are we looking for in out the door price.
